about
This song was inspired by the elemental realm, nature spirits and the cycles and rhythms of the earth. The cave drips and harmonium bring us into the liminal realms, where we discover what it means to be both fully human and fully divine. This song is an ode to the mystery - to the dark corners, our intuition and our feminine nature; our inner caves that hold the most beautiful gems. I give infinite gratitude for Mackenzie Madrone for helping birth this song into being and continuously giving me the courage to open my voice and be a vessel for song.
lyrics
I see the leaves
fall from the trees
become empty
disappearing
until they return
again
in the spring.
I look to the sea
to infinity
wind blowing
waves through the deep
I see my hands
turn into vines
cover the buildings
become divine
Ooooh malaki
shea-uni, una-yi
Ooooh blessed be
I am in your eyes
you live in me.
